This program provides an ideal training solution for Child Care Providers, Teachers, Special Education, Athletic Trainers, CA School Bus Drivers, Coaches, Personal Trainers, Security Guards, Babysitters, and others required to learn how to respond to medical emergencies involving children. The program helps meet diverse job requirements for pediatric health and safety training.

The courses in this program teach participants the knowledge and skills needed to give immediate care to an injured or ill person and decide whether advanced medical care is needed. The program offers Adult First Aid, CPR and AED courses to meet the various training needs of a diverse audience.

A person may take the courses to fulfill employment requirements that satisfies OSHA workplace or other regulatory requirements or they may be taking courses to provide for the safety and well-being of their friends, family and community or for personal satisfaction.

This American Red Cross class meets the requirements for the CPR and First Aid portion of California Title 22 and EMSA for Childcare Providers.

Blended Learning Format: Online and In Person Skills with Instructor

Online Course: Prior to the in-class skills session, all participants complete the Red Cross Online Course

Duration: Up to 3.5 hours online + Up to 2 hours 15 min class session

Certification Issued: 2-Year American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED Certificate
