The Heartsaver First Aid Online course is taught in a blended learning format. Students must complete the online portion, followed by the hands-on skills session (sold separately) conducted by an American Heart Association Training Center instructor. Student who successfully complete the online course and skills session, will receive a Heartsaver First Aid Course Completion card, valid for two years. 

Who should take this course?

The AHA’s Heartsaver courses are designed for anyone with little or no medical training who needs first aid and/or CPR training and a course completion card for job, regulatory (e.g., OSHA), or other requirements. Heartsaver courses can also be taken by anyone who wants to be prepared to act in an emergency.

Hands-on Skills Session (Sold Separately)

Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED

The intended audience for the courses in this program includes lay responders in the workplace and community. Participants represent a broad range of backgrounds and motivation. The audience may differ in age, level of maturity, level of education or experience.

The courses in this program teach participants the knowledge and skills needed to give immediate care to an injured or ill person and decide whether advanced medical care is needed. The program offers Adult First Aid, CPR and AED courses to meet the various training needs of a diverse audience.

A person may take the courses to fulfill employment requirements or they may be taking courses to provide for the safety and well-being of their friends, family and community or for personal satisfaction.

Child Care Providers will cover CA EMSA Asthma Training

This American Red Cross class meets the requirements for the CPR and First Aid portion of California Title 22 and EMSA for Childcare Providers.

This program provides an ideal training solution for Child Care Providers, Teachers, Special Education, Athletic Trainers, CA School Bus Drivers, Coaches, Personal Trainers, Security Guards, Babysitters, and others required to learn how to respond to medical emergencies involving children. The program helps meet diverse job requirements for pediatric health and safety training.

The courses in this program teach participants the knowledge and skills needed to give immediate care to an injured or ill person and decide whether advanced medical care is needed. The program offers Adult First Aid, CPR and AED courses to meet the various training needs of a diverse audience.

A person may take the courses to fulfill employment requirements that satisfies OSHA workplace or other regulatory requirements or they may be taking courses to provide for the safety and well-being of their friends, family and community or for personal satisfaction.

This American Red Cross class meets the requirements for the CPR and First Aid portion of California Title 22 and EMSA for Childcare Providers.

Blended Learning Format: Online and In Person Skills with Instructor

Online Course: Prior to the in-class skills session, all participants complete the Red Cross Online Course

Duration: Up to 3.5 hours online + Up to 2 hours 15 min class session

Certification Issued: 2-Year American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED Certificate

Este programa brinda una capacitación ideal para Profesores, Docentes de Educación Especial, Entrenadores Deportivos, Conductores de Autobús en California, Entrenadores Personales, Guardias de Seguridad, Niñeras y demás personas que les requieran aprender cómo responder a emergencias médicas que involucran a niños. El programa ayuda a cumplir con diversos requisitos laborales para la capacitación en salud, seguridad pediátrica y primeros auxilios ocupacionales.

En este curso se impartirán los temas y practicas requeridas por EMSA (Autoridad de Servicios Médicos de Emergencia de California) para Conductores de Autobus Escolar. Con el fin de llevar a sus participantes a tener un amplio conocimiento y las habilidades necesarias para saber prevenir y responder en emergencias medicas que involucren a bebes, niños y adultos.

En este curso se combina el aprendizaje en linea para obtener el conocimiento teorico junto con las habilidades en persona con un Instructor para aclarar cualquier duda sobre el curso. Los horarios son flexibles.

Los participantes deben completar el curso en linea y las habilidades para obtener su certificado.
